FAQ
How is this different than the Jira Slack app?
The big differentiator is what will follow over the coming weeks. A few notable ways weβre amplifying Jira in Slack are:
1. Allma will recognize alerts from your most important applications streaming into Slack and easily get those into Jira for you, right off the alert.
2. As Jira tickets progress, Allma will sync updates directly to the Slack thread to keep your team in the know without having to check in Jira / ask.
Also, if you use Slack-Connects with your customers, we are developing unique functionality targeted at that customer management experience.
Lastly, longer term we are planning to give your team the power to take action in Slack from Jira -- kick off incidents, comment on threads, and more!
