Allma Full-Stack Engineer

Allma is looking for a full-stack engineer to focus on building stable, reliable services and features that help our customers effectively deploy, develop, and standardize how teams use AI internally throughout the organization. You'll interface directly with customers, participate in the engineering planning and design processes, and work with peers across the company in a role where your value is more than just the lines of code you write.

Specifically, you'll help pave the way for the future of our platform by helping to design and implement core functionality across the stack, all framed by the needs of our customers working alongside a team of peers.

Who you are:

  • Experienced building native Slack Apps

  • Able to build, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks, using things like headless browsers and modern testing libraries.

  • Able to write design documents and participating with Product on gathering requirements

  • Focused on building out for the sad path as well as the happy path

What you’ll do:

  • Design, Implement, Ship, and Support features, ensuring that well tested and stable functionality makes it into the hands of our users

  • Collaborate across the entire organization to Plan, Estimate, De-Risk, and Prioritize upcoming work.

  • Participate in a weekly oncall cycle with your fellow engineers

  • Focus on our users at all times, from planning new work, to supporting existing functionality, all the way to how we develop, ship, and monitor our product.

Allma’s tech stack: React, SolidJS, Typescript on the frontend, Go backend, + AWS, ECS, MySQL, OpenAI.

Path to Parenthood and Parenthood Support

We are committed to offering a progressive and equitable parental leave policy to support members of our team as they strive to balance their work with their personal life. Allma supports their team members’ path to parenthood by offering a three-part parenthood benefit:

  • Up to $15K one-time stipend to support your path to parenthood or non-parenthood (adoption, egg/embryo freezing cycle, IVF cycle, vasectomy).

  • 12 weeks paid parental leave for all new parents (birth, adoption, fostering) and an additional 6 weeks paid parental leave for all birth parents. Leave includes full benefits and continuation of vesting schedule for equity.

  • Part-time programming for the first 4 weeks back to enable new parents to work part-time as they transition back to work.

Vacation Policy

  • Allma offers an unlimited vacation to full-time employees with a twist. We expect that you take a minimum of 10 days off per calendar year.
